Mystery/Adventure/Sweet Romance Series

Desert Intrigue
The Adventures of John and Julia Evans
MYSTERY…ADVENTURE...ROMANCE...HUMOR...INTRIGUE!

Romance, mystery, and regional history collaborate to create a satisfying, intriguing story! It was difficult to put this one down.” Steve Miller, Author

I love the sparks of romance in this adventure--they spice things up and add much interest to the story. The book has a handful of surprises that I did not anticipate, and the mystery fuels much of the action.” –Suko’s Notebook

1. My Devotional Thoughts: “The mystery in the book is probably the best I have seen from Linda Weaver Clarke. She gave subtle details, but even I did not have it all figured out by the end.” Ruth tells five points that grabbed her attention about Desert Intrigue. Read My Devotional Thoughts Review and tell me what grabbed your attention in this review.

2. Socrates Book Review: “I loved the first three books in this series, but I actually loved this one even more. I didn’t think that was possible. The characters are so well written and I absolutely adore each member of the Evans family. They grab at your heartstrings and won’t let go.” Yvonne’s reviews are different from the usual reviewer; she uses kitties instead of stars to rate her books. Read Socrates Book Review and tell me what grabbed your attention in this review.

In fact, had the last chapter not occurred, I still would not have completely understood what happened. Quite a clever story line, indeed!

I read My Devotional Thoughts review. What caught my attention, aside froml the general positive review and great storyline, is no sex or profanity! Very important to me. Thanks for the chance to win. I'd prefer a hard copy if I am your lucky winner. kristin409 at comcast.net

I've read Desert Intrigue. It's a wonderful mix of romance, legend and lore, mystery and family love. A fun book to read.

I love a book that makes me completely involved in the characters... where they are so believable and loveable that they become friends, and make you forget they are not REALLY part of your life in the truest sense. After reading the Socrates book review, I was itching to get my hands on Desert Intrigue for that reason, and because I love faith-based books. Faith-based books end up being such an encouragement in so many ways. On the roughest days they can lend a bit of hope or laughter or perspective... often including scripture to dip our busy-laden hearts into to be refreshed. I love to have a mix of elements all in one: mystery, love, and adventure, and it seems that this one has all of those. What an excellent review... like dipping the toes in the creek without fulling plunging in... just enough to make me want more... Thank you..

While I do live in Italy, I do have an address for which to send a physical in-the-hand paper copy. Please let that be okay. :-)

Only one thing???!!! I like that the reviewer stated that she couldn't figure out the mystery before the end. I like that I don't have to worry about language or situations. WHat really caught my attention is the way both reviews that I read said that the characters are so well characterized that they become like close friends (my words and interpretation) - I like reading books that make me think of the characters even when I am not reading.
Linda, I have not yet read one your books, but I believe I need to!!!

I haven't read any of your books but I like the fact that you have several story lines to follow. Gives it more depth then when some struggle along making a character continue on & on & on! Would like a hardcover if I'm so fortunated to win!

I,too, have been dying to read her series but have been unable to purchase them yet.
I enjoyed your Devotional Interview. I love Clean romance and clean language. I love mystery.
I, also, admire writers that do their homework in researching out facts of occurrences and situations before writing their book. My e-mail is: worley.la@gmail.com

I love a good mystery and I especially enjoyed the part about the possible Indian legend being responsible for the mayhem. I am curious to see how this plays out :) Thank you for participating in this fun hop!

I read Socrates review, and this series sounds amazing. I love how action-packed the plot sounds, with different story lines going on in different places. I love the desert, having grown up in Vegas, so the setting sounds wonderful...and spooky. If I won, I'd take a digital version. My email is char(at)joyinthemoments(dot)com

Linda Weaver Clarke has once again blasted her readers with mystery, intrigue, romance plus more!
Set in the mysterious stage of Superstition Mountains with added details, she has once again captured the readers interest. It was hard to put down. It was so refreshing to have such a book written without foul language or degrading sexual situations. This is a great book for the whole family to enjoy. The only imperfection I could detect would be a little less perfection and a little more suspense.
Love is great but not all couples find total bliss and capability in relationships although there are a rare few. It would be wonderful to believe it is so as often as portrayed.I won this book in a drawing but I would have still willingly purchased it as I have purchased her books in the past and will continue to do so in the future.

Thanks, LA Wonder, for your wonderful comment. I really appreciate it. I actually patterned this couple, John and Julia Evans, after my husband's and my relationship and I even added some of our own experiences to each of the novels in this series. Yes, John has my husband's qualities and personality. Mmmm.
